Spire's food committee are working for a more just food system which gives all people access to enough, secure and nutritious food. We are working for the food to be produced in a sustainable way in a system which values the small-scale farmers’ role as food producers and as a source of knowledge. We want the principles of food security and food sovereignty to be the foundation for the political decisions made in the agricultural sector in Norway and internationally. Do you want to join?
The food committee works to spread information to the Norwegian population, participate in different networks both nationally and internationally, influence politicians, and participate in food security conferences.
